I made a Lich, gave them a level 20 brain, and then I made three skeletons and gave them nothing, the intent being that they were disposable anyway. I decided to go with the heal and the eyeball and made like a yolo team on the fourth floor. I'm pretty sure I'd seen other items that give some kind of buff when a unit dies but I'm either mistaken or just didn't have any on hand. The first was an item that healed the unit to 100% when another died, another was an eyeball that gave them another action if they were the last unit alive. Now, I ended up coming across some items that made me a bit curious. Small edit: even not meaning to touch your self-confidence, people, but any difficulty below EH is a laugh and doable with almost anything and i need to add this (in hopes the games developers might read it too): ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE PLAYS SO BAD ON ANY DIFFICULTY from cakewalk till EH5 that IT IS REALLY A SHAME.So lately I've been seeing a lot of bashing on the Lich for kind of sucking and I can see it, the only real useful thing about them imo is that their gas cloud can strip a warden's (immune to debuffs) armor and resistance. It was on EH5, though i admit there s a catch: both dark knight and zombie have boiling blood (bonus for every empty squad slot)and that bull skull (+5 life each round for 5 rounds), being lvl 15 and skeletons were about lvl 9 i also had artefakt which gives +10 hitp to all minions now the trick was to boost knight and zombie with skeletons ability +5arm/+5resist till the end on max, then let them die so altogether boosted with boiling blood the zomb and the knight were virtually unhurtable only problem was that the machines use ability to lower armor which stack and again i admit, i had to use some reloads before i worked it out=kept knight alive with his replenish life ability + constant refilling mana and neverending disenchanting, while i were pumping the zomb with the bonus dmg (+gaining 1block, 1 ward) for about 20 turns (yes, it was blody grind and boredom), then blasted to pieces machines in 1 hit from the zomb I tried this squad this week: from right (1st) to left (last): dark knight, skeleton, skeleton, zombie.
